Why Be Gone Pest Control
Traditionally, Pest Control providers adopt a one size fits all approach to residential treatment. We are different and better in a number of ways, because we:
Engage customers to understand the pest challenges you have at your home.
Make available to customers, audit reports based on periodic inspections.
Customize treatment solutions to fit your needs. No more one size fits all.
Save you time and money.
Partner with you to give your family peace of mind.
Aim to reduce the sightings of pests.
Use an integrated control approach to help reduce your family’s exposure to toxic and harmful chemicals.
Stop pests from developing resistance to treatments.
Who Are We?
Be Gone adopts a ‘tailored’ preventive pest control approach to the local market. Our technique focuses on the consumer; where you live, the known & potential allergies of those who live in your home, the nature of pest problems you have experienced and central to our model is a free inspection, all of which shape our tailored treatment.
With your treatment specifics tailored, we setup an established pattern of treatment designed to prevent pest problems from developing. It includes periodic inspection of the home, garden & perimeter to identify potential or existing problems, the recording and tracking of this information within our system which in turn informs the evolution of your tailored application of pesticides, to prevent problems seen or unseen.
This is capstoned by discussions with owners regarding specific problems, needs or desires, with the objective of creating a plan that fits the budget and expectations of you the owner.
You do the things you love, we’ll look after the things you don’t!!
Controlling the Threat
Giant Red Centipede (Scolopendra angulata) is common in Barbados. This centipede which is found across the world's tropics and warmer temperate areas, varies in size considerably, but are mostly very large centipedes. The largest species found in tropical climates can exceed 12 inches and are the largest living centipedes in the world.
All Scolopendra species can deliver a painful bite, injecting venom through their forcipules, which are not fangs or other mouthparts, but instead modified legs on the first body segment.
Control of these requires development of an effective perimeter around your property, which will contribute to insulating you from both current and future generations of pests.
Bed bugs are troublesome household pests. They’re sneaky, hard to find, and can pose potential health risks for you and your family. Armed with pest control capabilities backed by science and state-of-the-art tools and products, we are well-equipped to assess your bed bug problem and mount a strategic response to rid your home of the pest and provide maximum protection.
Be Gone Pest Control is committed to getting the job done when it comes to this service. You can count on us to be professional, timely, efficient and make sure you’re satisfied every step of the way.
The three main types of cockroaches commonly found in homes in Barbados include the German cockroach, Brown Banded and American cockroach.
Cockroaches are primarily nocturnal creatures. Unless disturbed, they will typically hide out of sight during the day and become more active in their search for food at night. Cockroaches are attracted to food available inside or around your property and they will eat anything, including packaging; paper & plastics, fabrics and droppings from small pets, like Hamsters.
Roaches invade our homes and set up shop in our intimate spaces. As Rachel Nuwer writes in her article, 'Cockroaches: The insect we're programmed to fear'; "as physical embodiments of filth and germs", in a sense, "our very existence enables them to thrive".
We recommend a home inspection to address this risk before you see it. Remember, Cockroaches don't travel in ones and twos, and the longer they are allowed to live in your home, the greater the infestation can become.
Ants inside your house or apartment can be a seasonal or year-round problem. Many ant species build their nests outdoors, and become a nuisance when they forage for food inside your home. Once they discover a good food source, they may continue to come inside, collect their food and leave to take the food back to their outdoor colony. However, other ant species enter the interior of the building, build their nest inside and become permanent indoor residents.
The perception that there isn’t a single practice or strategy to control all ant infestations is entirely correct. Prevention and control activities often differ with various ant species, ant nest locations and the ant’s preferred foods. As with most other pest problems, using a complete, integrated pest management program works best

Rodents are warm-blooded mammals that are found throughout the world. They have oversized front teeth for gnawing and check teeth, which are adapted for chewing. Rodents chew on a variety of items available to them and cause great damage in and around homes.
In addition to being tough to control, rodents may carry diseases and taint food with waste, fur, and saliva. In fact, mice can contaminate about 10 times the amount of food they eat. They are linked to leptospirosis and hantavirus pulmonary syndrome, both potentially fatal diseases.
It is not advisable to handle any wild rodent. They are equipped with large teeth and are capable of transmitting a variety of bacteria, viruses and diseases through their saliva, feces and urine.
If you locate a rodent within your home, it is best to contact a pest management professional for removal and identification. The presence of one rodent within a home could signal an infestation. Keep all children and pets away from the rodent. If cornered, the rodent will bite to defend itself.
I'd have other Pest Control providers treat my home for a few years. After a free inspection and a great quote, I tried Be Gone and the next morning, I found 5 dead centipedes around the house! So I am loyal for life.
